Long's Peak Climb : I have been planning on climbing this mountain for two years now. It was worth the wait. We left the trailhead a few mins after midnight. I arrived on the summit at 5:30 a.m. and was surrounded by beauty. The clouds/fog burned off later on in the day. It's about 16 miles round trip, and we all had pretty sore feet at the end of the day. Good times with great friends in God's country.

Orphanage Visit : This was my first trip out to the Army sponsored local orphanage outside of Comayagua, Honduras. It was quite an experience. Makes you appreciate what you have. We brought a projector, some speakers, and a DVD player for them to watch a movie. Normally I would not encourage kids to watch movies, but the only time they get to watch a movie is when we come, which is once eery two weeks...
